They(MES) also banned 'Burqa' in their colleges,But sadly none is highlighting it and goes behind jeans.. its their college and the management have every other rights to implement it.Moreover 80-90% of students in their colleges are from Muslim community only...
Wahabism has very little influence among Kerala Muslims even today and media reports are most likely exaggerated ..for eg.lungi wearing Kannada speaking Muslims of Karnataka a generation or two ago ,have now started to speak NI baniya language 'urdu' as their first language and wearing paijama as their translation attire.same with andra Muslims too..There are many Muslim dominated areas in Tamilnadu ,where non Muslims are not permitted to enter without mahals permission...I don't know why the medias are not focusing on those and shitting only on Muslims of Kerala..At least Malayali Muslims are proud of their heritage and mother tongue..
