How real is the censorship in China

And I am not using any VPN.

You know using cloud sims are actually the same concept as using VPN...….You instead connect to virtual server, you connect to a cloud server...

Gosh......so what? Does it matter?

The matter is that you are still bypassing the firewall. Just not with a traditional Virtual Server.

Again, as I said, if you want to know how "REAL" the Chinese censorship is. go do the same thing in any Chinese Police (Public Safety) Station and you WILL find out how real they are.

So what is your point ?
Why is it so difficulty for you ?

You know you do not make any sense?
I have had my roaming man turned on in my backpack and using Google map walking past numerous public secrurity stations, public secrurity monitoring post etc. Sometimes my wife even stop to ask them for directions.
So what exactly is your point?
Anyway I do not have time with people whose glass is already full. I am here for a long needed vacation.
Have a nice day!

What is my point? You should ask yourself, what is your point.

You are asking "How Real is the Censorship in China" then you come up with this Roaming man and suggest Chinese Censorship is not real, and "see, I can use google map..." or something like that.

Roaming Man is still BYPASSING the firewall, mean there is still a censorship in China, you just bypassing it using Cloud SIMs instead of the traditional VPN.

It's like if I open a thread and ask "How Real is the Tax in China" And then I go around and say "How I can easily avoid tax by committing tax evasion by laundering money instead of cooking the book" Well, most people evade tax by cooking the book, the fact that I evade tax by laundering money still mean the Taxes are VERY REAL. You just use another way which normal people do to evade it.

So, wht exactly is your point?

My point is very simple.
It's impossible to censor the internet.

Well, then you have a weird way to say it, plus, why do you need to say this anyway? We all know VPN can circumvent internet firewall already? Unless you work for Roaming Man, your post does not make sense, which is telling people what they have already know.

Apparently not everyone knows. If you know,... good for you.

Everyone knows what? Roaming Man or VPN can circumvent Chinese Firewall?

Most people who travel know about Roaming Man, because it gives you fast internet access where you cannot get without local wifi or hooking up roaming service with your local mobile phone service provider. I have been using Roaming Man for quite some time, primarily to the middle east and south pacific where I cannot get a signal or have mobile service, and if they did not provide me with SATCOM.

And everybody know, in or outside of China, that VPN is the solution to Chinese Firewall, most people in China use VPN if they want to go under the official channel, hence Chinese government are targeting VPN as of late.

Pandai pandai saja orang ni.

There are other ways of going around the wall.

Even now, some people still believe in Western media? :woot:

Winnie the pooh in Shanghai Disneyland Park.

I saw some rumors, I'm feeling rather baffling.
What is going on? Please don't insult my IQ. Thanks.

BTW, this is the largest Disneyland Park in Asia.

Could Winnie The Pooh Be Removed From Shanghai Disneyland?

Believe it or not, there’s a good chance that Winnie the Pooh might be removed from Shanghai Disneyland in the near future. That’s right, no more character meet-and-greets, no more merchandise and the attractions could get re-themed. For those unfamiliar, Shanghai Disneyland has two Pooh attractions: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, a duplicate of the attractions found in Florida and Hong Kong, and Pooh’s Hunny Pot Spin, a one-of-a-kind teacup ride. Both attractions are found in Fantasyland at Shanghai Disneyland.

Why would Shanghai Disneyland go to the expense to re-theme two attractions? One word answer: ego. The current president of China is a guy by the name of Xi Jinping. Over the years, the people of China have used Pooh as a way to mock their president by comparing him to the Disney-famed “chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff.”
...

More recently, the release of “Christopher Robin” was banned in China after the worldwide release in 2018. While no official reason was given for the denial, The Hollywood Reporter claims it is due to the on-going “war on Winnie the Pooh” that has been going on between Jinping and the people of China. To be fair, China limits the number of films that can be released that come from foreign countries each year. Earlier in 2018, “A Wrinkle in Time” was also denied. (You’re welcome China.)

In the latest in the “Pooh war,” Pooh has been digitally removed in all Chinese advertisements of “Kingdom Hearts 3.” Indeed, reports have confirmed that when you play the Chinese version of “Kingdom Hearts 3,” Pooh will be censored (as seen above) in the game. Characters from the Hundred Acre Wood will be interactive with a white blob that will be moving around the game as if it wasn’t there when it releases in 2019.

Which leads us back to Shanghai Disneyland. It is very plausible that Shanghai Shendi (the company who operates Shanghai Disneyland on behalf of Disney) and the Chinese government are quietly working on ways to remove Pooh from the park. Can the Chinese government require Disney to remove all Winnie the Pooh references from Shanghai Disneyland? It seems like that answer is a yes. Might they come to a compromise and just remove character meet and greets and certain forms of signage? That is also a possibility. Regardless of the outcome, this is a story we will be watching in the coming months. Your thoughts?

If they do I'll know which threads to post it in.

You want to know "How Real" the censorship in China are?

Unplug your stuff and head to your local Police station and do the same thing and let them tell you "How Real" their jail is...…lol

Those are Satellite VPN (sort of)cloud sim service and you don't own it, you rent it from their company, basically you pay quite a lot (IIRC its about 10 bucks a day) and you can have that thing charge up your device and share between your phones and you laptop.

Don't care about the stupid bear.

If you want to show me Chinese Censorship does not exist, go to your nearest Police Station, use a VPN or Roaming Man and access Google, and if you are not arrested afterward, then we can talk.
