How Pakistani-Americans are entering interfaith and interracial marriages — and making them work

Sir I am not going into details again, I wish people could feel secure about what they believe in but somehow they don't feel that way.

My advice read the books you believe in and see for yourself, I have plenty of examples that I can quote with reference but again I will prefer you people read the Bukhari and others yourselves.

For more detailed discussion refer that locked thread in Seniors Section "Interpreting the holy Quran" it has plenty of material.

You can call it apologetic but it is based on real life realities. And I don't deny them.

OK

I will do that.

Although do mention if it is not much of an effort as to where did i mention Bukhari or use his collection in any of my post.

And I will let the 'you people' comment be ignored. You can do much better than choosing this way of discussion.

It is in traditions book called Bukhari .......... you can use google or consult hard copy of Bukhari.

It's in Bukhari.

Well, let's just say that the Hadith and I have a few disagreements sometimes.

I am sorry for my disrespecting tone. Shouldn't have said like that.

Sir Bukhari is considered second most authentic book after Quran, some people even go to lengths of calling it Wahi e Gair Matlu. So any reference to traditions would mean a reference to Bukhari as well.

If there is anything good written anywhere and it does not go against Quran, there is no harm in entertaining it.

Bai I am very much into keeping dog as a pet, but was always confused by these traditions and on other hand what Quran had to say. Kafi research karni pari thi tab ja kay kahi samaj aya tha k asal kya bat hy.

True. Researches have called "black dog" as a reference to the Devil or the sinful tendencies of man. But I don't think that there's a blanket death sentence on all black dogs.

My earlier case was that watching = doing. I stand by that. Because encouraging it tends to spread it more than doing it.
You literally argued against your own case with your last justification .... of the 'consumers (addicts/ watchers) creating demand leading the suppliers (people creating the videos/ movies) to create more.'

FYI suppliers and consumers are two VERY different things which was what most of us were arguing before i.e. although watching p0rn is a sin, it's not the same as engaging in pre-marital s*x.

So in your opinion, a person watching the act = a person actually engaging in the act? By the way let's not start to pretend that ONLY men in our society go to such websites ...

Yes. Because the latter is:
a) a despicable person who is watching porno to suppress his sx drive, instead of sticking to his faith.
b) is, by watching, adding to the demand of the industry, which results to more supply.
c) is most probably masturbating.
In fact, I'd say that the watcher is more to blame here.

I said that consumers were responsible for the increase in demand and thus supply. Their actions increase premarital s*x.

If you have s*x, you are committing a sin. If you watch p*rno, you are encouraging one.
"But how, Vazir?"
Because every time you watch one, you add to it's views. That means that you add to it's demand. Demand increasing results in the supply increasing accordingly. Hence, porno increases, and so does the sin.
Please make up your mind ...

Sir my whole argument has been lets revisit our tradition books and history books in light of Quran and lets remove the contradictions. Let me give you an example of what I think true hadeeth look like

"Once a Jew accused of killing another person was sentenced to death by Messenger (Peace be upon him), his crime warranted the capital punishment and method was beheading by sword. So in a public gathering messenger raised his finger to signal the executioner to go a head with executing the criminal..... when all of a sudden a young little girl, daughter of that Jew came running and held Messenger's legs and started crying don't kill my father, don't make me orphan, this brought tears to Messenger's eyes he started caressing the young girl on her head with his other hand .... at that moment companions thought that Messenger may stop the execution ..... but what they witnessed Messenger signaling the executioner to go a head with execution ........ with tears running down his cheeks. Later when companions asked him we thought you would hold the execution and pardon the man.... the Messenger replied

Those tears in my eyes were Tears of Muhammad bin Abdullah and

That finger signaling to go a head with execution was finger of Muhammad the Messenger of ALLAH."

Unfortunately zealots are against any reforms and resort to violence. I'm all in for a reform. I've been in support for reform for a long time.

Everything has its time and every effort takes time to show the results, it even takes centuries. So no problem. Miracles don't happen.

and your point is?

Justice has no bias.

So basically its just an event that took place and was reported and considered authentic by transmitters or by the spirit of Quran.

Justice has no bias and its in accordance with how a Messenger should conduct his affairs and is in accordance with Quran. As compared to a tradition that seeks permission of coitus interruptus with women PoWs.

As I said one should at least read the books he / she believes in.

There are alot of fabricated hadith in bukhari tho.
