Let me say something truthful : I have never ever faced discrimination personally for being a Muslim. Maybe it is because I don't live in Bombay or such places. Maybe it is because I don't flaunt my Muslim-ness via dressing in a certain manner like the man in the vid.

Thing is, the Indian bureaucracy is secular because people like Nehru made it so. It is another thing that the background Indian culture is not secular. But people are forced to be secular because of the bureaucracy.

Your fellow country men elected an individual who at the onset of Gujarat massacre said, "the Hindus need to vent" instead of trying to save lives. Pakistani people on the other hand elected an ex-playboy cricketer.
