Much like the rest of the subcontinent, Pakistan is experiencing rapid urbanization. This is why it is even more vital that Pakistan's GDP growth needs to increase, so that it can provide jobs for all these newcomers to urban areas of Pakistan.

New cities also need to be built, and current cities need to be expanded, many existing large cities are already on the verge of overpopulation.

Historically, it has almost exclusively been men whom have been the first to go out to urban areas, and find city jobs, leaving their family at home, so the wives have had little choice but to take care of their land, while they wait for their husbands/fathers/sons/etc to find a city job, and start making money. So am I surprised that more women work in the agricultural sector than men? Not really.

I won't call what the subcontinent is experiencing as "Urbanization". Urbanization implies structure and development. We are aggregating into more dense clusters.

That's not necessarily true. There are new cities popping up in South Asia. In Pakistan alone, the government plans on constructing 20-30 new cities in the next 35-40 years. India is planning 80-100 new cities within the same time frame. Those are just the ones that the governments are planning, the private sectors are also planning dozens of cities across the subcontinent, within the coming few decades.
