It is quite strange.
His words attempt to echo the pre-partition socialism and harmony.
At the same time, he has no problems hating PM Narendra Modi who started taking a harder stance against country's Army-managed politics.
At one stage he falls short of calling India his home.
He must understand that with the changing reality of partition, this is no longer his home.
If he wants to have the pre-partition peace, he needs to do something as a citizen of Pakistan to dissuade his hawkish generals.
We have no problem with following through with peace once our civilians and jawans stop being killed.
