Countries should learn from Israel for developing its amazing tech sector. Though it did had America's help, even America would transfer its tech if the country is not capable enough and if it not getting some benefit in return, as can be seen in the case of South Korea and Saudi.

You have got to be kidding me with that comment. When Western Bloc states meddle in the internal affairs of other states, impose regime change, rig elections, buy politicians and etc. You base your argument on "Capable Enough?"

Libya is a prime example, whose citizens had enjoyed quality of life that most Western Bloc countries could only dream of. Free medical care, free education (including university), guaranteed jobs and an Oil to Gold conversion rate, unparalleled in the entire Western Hemisphere, let alone the Continent of Africa. And what did the Western Bloc countries do to it? Well we all (at least those who have a functioning brain and know how to use it) know what happened in 2011.

The state of israel is created on the basis of a lie (they boast that God gave them the Holy Land), which has usurped the land of Palestinians, imposed wars on its neighboring states, attacked neighboring state's nuclear facilities. A country built on the blood and bones of many nations. Armed to the teeth with spoon fed military aid, technological transfer, massive financial aid. American aid to israel is well over $250 billion since 1948. And this is just the official american aid, then you have aid from britain and france as well.

Great chunk of religious clergy opposed the very being of Pakistan and a sizable chunk did it even after 1947. Riots of 1953 and opposition to Ayub Khans reforms both land and educational are a case in point. The main opposition to Ayub was from islamic parties - bhutto just hijacked it.

During Gen Zia's rule deobandi specifically expanded its educational system by 200% despite being in minority. Even Zia was targeted for assassination by Tajamul Malik inspired by religious extremists.

During Musharraf's era - NWFP was directly ruled by MMA and the result was TTP insurgency. In balochistan while in alliance with PML-Q they did exercise influence on many 'educational centres' that became insurgent groups.

Opposition to Pakistan army in fighting against TTP and Lal Masjid affair is another case. It was JI chief that called soldiers fighting TTP " not shaheeds".

I totally agree with you the islamic clergy cannot be blamed alone. Pakistan is inherently a corrupt country and ethnic parties or mercantile parties like PML-N or PTI are all to blame. Pakistani bureaucracy is also legendary in corruption and incompetence.

Pakistan sadly hasnt been able to find sense of community. It needs to become a nation.

I was not talking about political/strategic or religious angle. Simply about the technical prowess, the gained in short amount is commendable and envious. USA's aid very well known, but still a country of 8 million with few decades of existence having such a strong indigenous military technology is praiseworthy. And they not only developed in the military sector but in many tech other areas as well
