Because Turkey wouldn't like to see Assad and his army bombed ? I don't think Assad would have attacked Turkey if we bomb him from there,the Israelis literally bomb the neighborhoods of Damascus and they do nothing.... (Too weak to)
Anyway,we didn't want to take any risk,and it was the safest possibility.

Ah...i totally overlooked over that perspective....you are right. PM would pass a resolution from the parliament at no time. And i too think, that Assad wouldn't dare hit Turkey. Once they mistakenly dropped an artillery shell on Turkey which killed 5 Turkish citizen. In 6 hours the base which the artillery has been fired, got destroyed. No more stray shells landed on Turkey ever since that day.

at least we arent hypocritical about it and its only on our borders.
So do you have a danger coming from Belgium and Luxemburg? Are they anti french countries now? banning french language? Was there some coup etc. recently?

And the Syrian government is the legitimate government of Syria its a fact, they asked us to be involved there not Isis or this alnusra/FSA guerrillas. Has Saddam Hussein asked Bush to invade him, miles away across the Atlantic?

We don't always threaten our neighbors and use the French speaking population as an excuse to invade other countries.
You should ask yourselves why the eastern Europeans hate you so much.
You must be paranoid to think NATO will invade Russia/Threatens Russia.... Just some excuses Putin finds to avoid the internal problems and to spend the money on useless weapons rather than spending on the infrastructures that Russians critically need.
But you don't know this problem since you live in rich,well developped Germany.

You are 100% spot on. Some Russians and even more so their cheerleaders seem to think Russia's small baltic neighbours and scandinvan countries are simply fools/stupid western brainwashed countries, while Russia is a hero superman who has never invaded nor threatened any country.

Im often amazed by their way of thinking. Especially the non Russian cheerleaders(since at least for the Russians i understand since its their country and they will support it even if it nuked another country, which i think its normal) who will say irrational things just because they despise the 'evil' west(never mind that many of them immigrated and now enjoy their life in the very same evil west not Russia, we all know why. Lol obviously according to some of them, even Saddam never caused any harm nor invaded anyone. He was just a peaceful man who ruled and advanced his country. Lol Never mind that if he had even half of our capabilities back then, he would have longgg invaded and subjugated the whole middle east and venture even beyond that.
