I think this 50 -70K figure is greatly exaggerated . We lost around 25-30K people . Rest included in the stats are militants dead to make it around 70K.

Zia should be credited with stopping the lunatic surge of Bhutto islamic socialism which would have turned us into the capital of ISIS...during Zia time there were many mutinies in the army from factions of Bhutto pro-islamist promotions who wanted to install a hard line shariah government...for all the problems in Pakistan today if one man has to be blamed it is Bhutto and his entire family..late riddance but good riddance...
