How FREE are CHINESE?

No, China has the best answer: Freedom. Those in prison have no worries that most people have. Am just going by your standards, buddy.
Oh, that explains why so many Americans enjoy spending their lives behind the bars in US.

At least we call it prison and it is a bad thing. What your China did was spectacular -- convinced 1 bil people that the intellectual prison they are in is a good thing.

Lol. keep saying 1 billion please and make a fool of yourself being laughed by everyone, 1 billion,lol.. so in your mind I m also a prisoner, ok, whatever pleases you, just a small correction, Chinese population is 1.4 billion, not 1 billion.

. .
Yes, you are. Not in my mind, but in yours.
Lol, check the OP video it seems many foreigners pretty enjoy living in this " prison“ because of sense of safety and not being worried about getting mugged or shot walking on the street.

He can’t say anything negative about the CCP and the tyrant Xi. If he does he will be punished in the social credit score.

I always say I m against a third term for Xi's presidency and he should retire next year. You don't know? oh, yeah, you just registered this week, what do you know about anything about this PDF and its posters.

The question is just silly. Different people value differently on the liberty of different aspects in life. One Chinese will feel differently about the same freedom he gets comparing with another Chinese. Here is an example: for a religious Chinese, religious freedom is as important as his life but for an atheist Chinese, not much.

That is because his Huawei cell phone, his PC, his smart watch, and even his earpieces are recording/reporting everything he says to Party central intelligence office somewhere in Beijing in an anonymous non-descriptive building that have no address and cannot be found on any map, digital or print. And he is convinced that the intellectual golden cage he is living in is a good thing because it promotes harmony among the Chinese people.

Lol, you can claim whatever you want, take care of yourself, don't get shot when walking on the street in US.

Most foreigners who routinely badmouth China are those who have never been to China or spent little time in China, it's not a surprise since they've been brainwashed by their media for too long, once they spend more time and experience China more, most of them will change their opinions.
Most people on earth will never visit China, that doesnt take away the right to criticize. Nothing against your opinion but this argument isnt valid.

.
China must be doing something right if it's becoming superpower.

Of course you can believe whatever your media feeds you, but westerners would most probably change their mind completely after spending or living in China for some time, cause what you feel personally is always truer than what the media tries to tell you.

China is smarter than any Western democracy in existence

While we squabble about how many houses haven't been built in the past three years, and how many light rail projects the Government's failed to deliver in a term, they're thinking between 100 and 150 years ahead of any of us.

They're looking far off into the distance at a world we can't yet comprehend - a world where today's so-called superpowers will crumble, a world where competition for increasingly scarce resources will see us cannibalise each other.

And China will be there - prepared and ready for the fight. Their tentacles of influence are already spreading far and wide to all corners of the globe.

The consolidation of absolute power in the hands of a few allows for strategic advantage on a scale we just don't understand.

China was badly burnt by Japan during the Second Sino-Japanese War - they lost an estimated 20 million people.

Having lived there and learnt from them, they will never let themselves be raped and pillaged like that again.

They're not trying to be the bully, they're the kid at school who was bullied and then hits the gym hard; learns kick-boxing to protect themselves in the future.

In the West, we think we're superior because we have freedoms and votes and elections.

None of those things will matter as much in a world so far into the future, we just can't see it yet.

You know whats the most interesting thing. You think that everyone else is being manipulated by their respective media except you, because you somehow have the ability to discern truth from lies. You being smart or not is not the question here and I dont see how it helps your argument that I questioned.
