I thought I will bring this to your notice.
I'm not sure which one of you is accountable for the misleading videos that get posted on PDF's social media accounts like this one mentioned below.
I know our soldiers are not on a picnic in Siachen and that they have to work assiduously to survive in the harsh climate while simultaneously protecting the borders too. Let's respect this fact, and also the soldiers on both sides.
Now let's get some of the facts right- India doesn't loose one soldier each day on the glacier. (as shown in the video). We have lost about 200 of them between 2003-2010 which by any calculation doesn't amount to one soldier per day. Now I even doubt if Pakistan too looses 1 soldier every 3 days as the video mentions.
Does anyone check these facts before posting them on your social media accounts?
