How different are old Muslim houses in Pakistan from the Indian ones

Houses differ across the world depending on the area. Below is a picture of my house in Harare. When back home in India, I would never think of living in such a modest home.

How dare you calling my home as yours. I have still not decided to sell it

.
Muslim houses were burqa clad whereas Hindu houses were draping sarees.

.
I dislike the muslim housing style of large walls and chains and bars on windows , looks like prison
Sad .. really

Feels like Saudi culture housing

You know Jinnah was Gujarati right?

Please tell how many Gujratis can you find in Pakistan today, I can tell you about the Somalis, Sudanese living here, does this make them an ethnicity of Pakistan, Jinnah was one of the few Gujrati migrants, for example Muhammad Asad, a prominent member of Pakistan movement and Pakistan's Minister Plenipotentiary to the UN, was an Austrian Jewish Convert, it was the idea of Pakistan at the time which attracted people at that time, today you'd hardly find any gujrati here !!!

There are are over million people that migrated from the Indian state of Gujarat to Pakistan. The Memons still retain some distinctiveness and the rest have integrated with the Urdu speaking community in Karachi. None of the new generation can speak or write Gujarati but some older generation can still do. The Ismaili Nizari (Agha Khanis) have their Ginans (holy books) written in Gujarati but now they are being read and written in Urdu and English.

Memons have their own language, Memoni , they don't speak Gujrati, its probably no one can speak Gujrati, that's why they don't identify themselves as Gujrati, they identify themselves as Memon , Ismailis, Bohras, Parsis. I have personally never heard or seen anyone identifying himself as Gujrati or speaking the language, not even on media, so technically they aren't gujratis culturally, as they have been absorbed into the urdu speaking community and are referred to as Muhajirs by rest of the Pakistanis, they can't affiliate themselves with Gujrati muslims in India now, neither can 55% of Pakistanis (Punjabis) or Pushtuns (18 %) or Sindhis, Baloch, Hazaras, Potoharis, Saraekis, Gilgitis, so my point is its more about culture than religion, a Pakistani Punjabi is culturally closer to Indian Punjabi, Pakistani Pushtun to Afghan Pushtun, Pakistani Baloch to Iranian Baloch !!!

Memoni was written using Gujarati script but now its written using Urdu script.

"Memoni” is not a language in its real sense. It is only a “Boli” without any script of its own. Before partition of the sub-continent, the community was using Gujrati as a mean of internal written communication. This was being done unconsciously and under the influence of prevailing atmosphere including the then province of our domicile. The level of education within the community was very low and in most cases education upto primary or secondary level with Gujrati as a Medium of Instructions was considered enough. No wonder then that Gujrati became the language of our written communication."

MEMON COMMUNITY AND PRESERVATION OF IDENTITY

Haq's Musings: Pakistan Needs More Gujaratis?

lol he has no idea what he is talking about. I'm Gujarati but don't consider myself anything close to Indian or muhajir

Don't give away your position. Didn't they teach you anything at RAW/IFS?

.
Now the height of a "muslim house" concerns you? God...What's next, how low or high a "muslim lungi" is?
