How did Fazlulah Reach Afghanistan?

why is fazlulah in afghanistan?? wasnt the media about a couple of months ago sayin they were almost near to capture fazlullah??? wat happned to that?? wat about muslim khan?? why is muslim khans capture been so quiet?? why dont they just kill him, ihasnt it been enough time to get every single info out of him??? , most imporetently, how come the top leaders of taliban in swat are still alive??? this is rediculous...

It is disappointing to know that he escaped, especially because we were told he is close to capture. Having said that, its one major terror leader off Pakistani soil. Atleast something to be proud of? We should be happy if the rest get killed or get kicked to Afghanistan. After Pakistani soil is clean, the rest of the world can take back the pointed fingers and stick them up their backside, because then Pakistan isn't responsible. Mr. Karzai and co will have to give all the answers if that happens.

yahh but afghan taliban arent like pakistani kuffar taliban, they actually fight like men... fazlullah isnt there for shelter, he is going to beg and cry for men in afghan, and if he gets support from aghan taliban, that aint gudd for pakistan, most importently for swat... I dont get wat fukin gold hes found in swat, why da hell he after swat??

Suuuure...if spraying schoolgirls with acid, using human shields, and intentionally targeting civilians is manly.

Funny thing, though, is their preferred mode of attacking ISAF are IEDs. In a stand-up fight they've yet to take control of and stand over the dead bodies of a single ISAF platoon in over eight years of combat. Further, too often those same IEDs kill some farmer and his kids.

If that's fighting like men, I'd hate to see what they'd do if they suddenly got girly.

I don't know what you find about the afghan taliban to be 'manly.' They have similar tactics to their jihadi TTP brothers. They never hold and engage in battle with the coalition forces, they simply melt away. S-2 mentions their tactics like using human shields, what is so manly about that? They are cowards just like the TTP.

Ofcourse he will get support from Afghan Taliban. They are probably the ones that helped him escape there. Swat was just supposed to be the beginning. They were supposed to expand to other parts. That is classic Taliban, making a stronghold, signing peace deals with us, and then using those peace deals to strengthen and expand into other parts. We finally got our heads out of the sand when they expanded into Buner.

I consider it a diversion. According to reliable sources of Intel, Fazlullah has lost his both legs and for him to move his men carry him from one place to another. His is unable to walk himself. I heard this from an ex-Brigadier and ex-Political Agent of FATA yesterday.

If he had reached there than it shows that there must have been a breach in the siege set around him. Anyhow I am sure if he is to get some help from there he ain't gonna be successful. Not sure but just wish.

If he is in Aghanistan, his is definitely the guest of Qari Ziaur Rahman who is commander of Kunar and Nuristan. In an interview with Salim Shahzad for asia times, Qari openly expressed his support for his TTP brothers in Bajur, Mohmand agencies and Swat. I think its big setback for Pakistan. Fazlu with the help of Qari can send suicide bombers to Swat and disrupt peace. Pakistan should pursue him in Afghanistan with the help of ISAF.

He probably had fled to S Waziristan before the operation and from there to Afghanistan. The famouse Afghani Taliban Killer Jalal Udin Haqani has/had presence in Waziristan and is a good buddy to Hakeemullah. He might be somewhere in Khost - just a guess.
