1.4 Billion people so all real estate is going to be of use. China plan big and too far ahead for selfish and short-sighted Westerners to comprehend the meaning of China's immense social planning acumen. With such a big population, China knows it has to anticipate future trends and make contingencies for them, otherwise you just blindly react to problems that crop up without a plan and solution to hand. Just look at China's southern neighbours to see what reactionary social planning gets you.

The westerner will badmouth China about Ghost City but when the city becomes busy and success , they keep quiet and keep humming the old news of Ghost City. You can see the jealousy written on their face.

They will talk loudly when they see China is about to accomplish something. When they are unable to achieve the desired effect, they will pretend it never happened.

These foreigners from the so-called developed countries haven't got the faintest idea of what China is all about。

And they thought they were the standard by which the world should be measured。

Can't blame them 100% as Chinese need to share the blame. It is mainly Chinese (Asians) in general who put these people on the highest pedestal.

Now the Western free state propganda fabricated "housing bubble" and "ghost city" stories will be quickly turning into "smog and environmental destruction" and "thousand of people are protesting against the regime, these Chinese people want an American controlled oligarchy and friendly American occupation. We must support them!" stories for the exact same cities...
