For decades no enemy has dared to cross Pakistan's borders and attack us directly. How dare these Indian sponsored terrorists attack Pakistan. People of Pakistan are boiling in anger and most want to do something about it. Would you offer your services to fight this enemy?

Obviously; they are good as long as they are with us and bad if they don't prevent TTP attacks against Pakistan. What's so hard to understand?

Besides, can you even begin to imagine the pain it would be causing our establishment? I mean the attacks orchestrated in Afghanistan by TTP who are free to do as they please by those for whom we took so much damage, so much flak, so much humiliation and for whom we are still begging the world to provide assistance!!!

Well I can't but admire the eternal short-sightedness of Pakistani leadership. However what I am amused is about PDF's machismo during Taliban takeover as if that was some masterstroke played by Pakistan.

Indian terrorists? Are you serious? They are result of our wrong policies. Good terrorist, bad terrorist etc. Talibans remained loyal to Pakistan just to grab Afghanistan and Pakistan gifted Afghanistan to Talibans.now Talibans showing their true color. They aren't loyal to anyone. They are like animals. Only solution is to drop atomic weapons. Annihilate Afghanistan.

They attacked because they could, it is usually high activity time when there is political turmoil in Pakistan. There is a ceasefire in Kashmir otherwise I am sure Indians would have joined in too.

Removing the snakes from Kabul regime, who thought they they can do anything against Pakistan, is indeed a master stroke. Taliban can also try to do what their elders did in the past and see for themselves if it works out for them.

I laughed reading this. I remember the self congratulatory virtual high-fives and chest thumping by just about every “patriotic” pakistani on this forum. Indians were running with our “tails on fire”? (Putting it mildly)

And then there was that heroic guy standing with a tea cup on his pinky. :)

It’s as if they never learn from history — it’s the same stupid playbook every single time. Breed terrorists only to cry foul when they bleed Pakistan. From 1950 to 2022.

Have some respect for nation building and the need for some semblance of foundational values. Realpolitik is a fancy word. But without a moral compass it can only go so far.

A democratic government with a constitution in Afghanistan, even a dysfunctional one would have been useful for Pakistan in the long run. But since day one Pakistan played both sides and finally toppled whatever fledgling nation building exercise they had going on there.

What you’re seeing now is just karma. This is the path pakistan chose. This is the outcome Pakistan engineered. Take a bow, this is your moment in the sun.

But they did not. And in hindsight your threat perception is starting to look like paranoia.

By the looks of it, statistically you are on track to suffer a lot more casualties in a year than you ever faced with the “puppet” afghan government.

Like i said, our hands are being forced and they will see for themselves who is gonna get what. Just because you guys are willingly obtuse to understand a point, doesn't mean our side did not know what to expect. The recent cross border raid manifests that we will not sit back and allow the culprits go unpunished.

Say 10000 times that Taliban was a mistake I'll repeat a million times that they were the best thing among plathora of options

Remember after dying in Vietnam war with Vietnamese - shortly afterwards Chinese invaded Vietnam to keep them in check
That did not make Chinese support to VCP wrong- And they'd repeat it again in a heartbeat
It's geopolitics not black and white zero sum games
Crux of it - communists we're supported by China because they'll never become pro US, Islamists are supported because they'll never be friendly with either India or Iran
This is the fundamental rationale, it's solid but like everything you need to perfect it, work on it

Unfortunately it'll (Tali support) be one of those retarted opinions like that of we shouldn't have been involved with soviet's and should have let it be
I don't care for these opinions as they're dumb and lack honest insight in my humble opinion

On- topic
Dude FC paramilitary can fight them "fighting" is not the issue here, it never was

So a wrong question thus a wrong thread

still situation is better then afghanistan puppet govt
we are no longer under international pressure and can sort things ourself, conduct airstrikes if we want to in afgahnistan all of which would have been impossible
dont know what you are hinting at ?

They dare because they can - its a vast border with a rag tag partly loyal group of militias claiming to run Afghanistan which they took by paying trained fighters to either fight with them or stay out of the way. The same fighters can now be paid by the TTP because at the end the Taliban aren’t a single entity but ten Mullahs leaders claiming to be a Shura commanding different levels of loyalty from 40 different mullahs leaders who then command loyalty from 200 different Mullah leaders and so on.
