Chinese Gaokao is very difficult, not every test taker can land a spot in a Chinese university, so if you or your family has money, you can skip Gaokao and go to study in a foreign college, a win win for both the government and the students whose school sores are not that good.

You mean the entrance requirement for western university is lower than of the mainland? I can tell you, ok maybe true for German universities (I myself graduated at two universities), but the subjects are very tough not for lazy students.

China nation is never a war like one, our culture is always economic and development based throught our history, that's why all Chinese dynasties tended to build walls to protect them from what they called foreign barbarians, China just doesn't have the cultural and ideological base to become a Nazi Germany.

But "core interests" for world powers are quite complex and numerous. For example China is building military bases in Africa as we speak(i know of one already in Djibouti and 1 in Zimbabwe)so China's "core interests" are not limited to regions close to China. China is already arming itself to protect its African "resources"(for example).

Chinese members on PDF tend to be more nationalistic than general populace, and there are plenty of nay sayers on Chinese social media actively opposing anything and everything that CPC does. So no, Chinese nationalism is nowhere near as high as you have read here, and Chinese are not about to match out and conquer the world.

All of these actions happened in the south of Vietnam. People there, who are basically of Cham/Khmer stock, are emotional and cannot control themselves. Some mixed blood from North Vietnamese (very little) and Chinese could not change that.
