How can a teacher remove a disobedient pupil?

Oh, please this has law suit written all over it. The only thing she will learn from this is how to make fast buck.

I have no problem with a lawsuit. That girl needed a beat-down her mother couldn't give her.

Did you not notice the students who walked out of school to show support to the officer? The media had a field day with the "honest students" talking about "officer slam" just like that hungry punk who called Micheal Brown a friend, turned out he lied, and the idiots across America swallowed it all up as truth.

I'm sure her mother can use the millions she'll get, considering shes a single mother.

Very judgmental of you :tsk:

Really? There's a time to pamper a child, and then there's tough love. I always get tough love from my father and you know what I don't resent him for it I thank him because he's one of the few people who will correct my behavior. If you want to stroke the hair of a disrespectful, rule disregarding student go for it. You'll probably end up paying for her monthly rent out of your taxes that should be used by the government to fund something useful.

Now we got hippies all over the place giving out trophies just to show up to a competition.

Considering you're probably an older person here, you'd know, we had to earn whatever we wanted. You want a new bike? Save up your money, earn it. You want to get a First place trophy? Earn it. Want an education? Earn good grades.

She got what she earned a smack down. Sad thing is she'll probably be smacking me down in a couple of years by earning welfare checks from my taxes. Taxes that I should earn in better government services.

Because in the rest of the civilized world, you don't have police in high schools?

There's a break-down of values across the world. Combine that with the freedom to own/ possess a firearm in the US, and the horrendous mental health facilities in the US and you got Columbine, Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech.

There used to be respect for teachers. Now they're treated like sh!t.

Well the guidelins never allowed force or it would be misused as humans have a habit of misusing power given

and more judgments ...

I dont say she acted nicely but I also dont say the policeman was nice!

She got what she earned a smack down.
and how did she "earn" it?

How insecure now if the welfare system has a loophole it is the problem with the system and the management team who cant be bothered to patch it up!

In Scandinavia, if you are on welfare, 1st you are given job ads if you dont apply your welfare takes a dip....THAT is where you earn your welfare by showing progress towards getting off it! Now if this simple system cant be installed in other countries calling themselves 1st world....Well then, there really is some mismanagement going on!

the bbc report about Indian schools is inaccurate, most govt schools stil have corporal punisment(whatever law might say, who follows law?). Private schools could be slightly better, as parents pay lot of money, just calling parents can scare the child(the parents will do the beating part. lolz)

About UK, I have heard scary stories about kids misbehaving with teachers, in extreme case bullying and stabbing, not sure how widespread or true. @waz

I'll type up my thoughts tomorrow mate. It's well past my bedtime now.

The guide lines in question would also highlight that the student is probably respectful. Most of these guide lines were written by the previous generation.

The job of the policeman isn't to be "nice" all the time. They are human beings also.

The disrespectful attitude to not just 1 teacher but an administrator and a police officer.

There isn't a desire to correct the loopholes in the welfare system. And any chance is always overturned with a new administration.

Each administration has added more and more benefits to the welfare system that now it's practically better to get welfare than work. People can get welfare for the stupidest of reasons, disability because they decided to be overweight rather than eat healthy. Unemployment, from a seasonal job, because well, why not?

Here you dont need to show that you're trying to get a job, just go to the Social Security office with a bunch of "official emails" from companies that you "applied to" but they declined to hire you. And you'll continue your leching. The Political Party, you decided which one, is all to eager to keep power. Each year a representative of this party has been in power, of a city, the economics usually declined. And now you got riots because there are no jobs in the cities.

probably respectful.
the only "probably" thing written is if they pose a danger i.e. holding weapons/ attacking

Most of these guide lines were written by the previous generation.
and still followed by this generation until and unless someone amends or reviews the guidelines they are there to stay

The job of the policeman isn't to be "nice" all the time. They are human beings also.
yea but I am sure raising your voice isnt being nice...however, tackling a girl to the floor as though she is a terrorist isnt exactly sending a good msg! Something research of this generation has figured out :)

The disrespectful attitude
I agree the attitude was beyond horrible however the reaction was beyond human for a young girl to be handled that way! Esp to one who isnt posing a threat! If you dont differentiate you are sending a really wrong msg!

sad reality also applicable for UK!

Ok that is like putting a disease on yourself

That is a pity and the system really is broken and a correction is way overdue!
