wow these is really impressive. few points i have noted :
a) They got a doc appointment the same day followed by blood test/results and doctor consultation again - all in one flat day.
b) Despite copious amount of information being exchanged i have never seen them needing to use a pen and pencil. They were a few printouts of receipts (which also seem optional) but no hand inputs of information on paper- everything is electrnoc
c) Crowds were there but the complete digital management of queuing and waiting is very impressive.

In 1-2 hours for many common blood tests, but it also depends on what kind of blood tests, some complex results targetting specific diseases can take a day or two.

Pen and paper had been long a thing of the past, the problem now is many people find they are in trouble writing correctly when being asked to do so.

c) Crowds were there but the complete digital management of queuing and waiting is very impressive.

This hospital has too many people.

Hospitals in Beijing are the same, actually speaking of the best hospitals, almost all of the best of the best are in Beijing.

There is a reason why China, as a developing country, can beat US in average life expectancy.

At least in Beijing, almost everyone makes a doctor's appointment on apps with their cellphones, it's extremely rare for people to go to the hospital to so like this Indian family did. unlike in the west, people in China can see the doctors just hours after they make an appointment on the same day. This is something really blows my foreign friends minds, in the west they have to wait for days if not weeks before they can see the doctor.
