Its not easy for u to make money with China when war between VN-China happen in SCS(east sea). All ships cant pass throught SCS(east sea) means your cargos cant export to China, ur economy will get a huge impact too

He is not a general per se, and doesn't have any right to directly give command to the Indonesian military, but he is a honorary member of the Indonesian armed force (with high ranking position) with enough influence to ask Indonesian President and generals to defend his throne and his country.

The military hardliners, the anti-commies hardliners, spearheaded the invasion because they believed that the left wing extremist party Fretillin was considered a threat to Indonesia and to the integration of Indonesia as it may spark the secessionist movement inside the country. Meanwhile, the growing civil war between Fretillin and other political group have caused fear to the Indonesian government at that time, that the chaos could spread accross the border and affect indonesian province of NTT.
