How can you not aware of Dragon boat festival? Even that one of the most famous Chinese culture day after Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival (Cap go meh) in Chinese indonesian community.

Especially like you said, you are active in one of Chinese Organization.
You must be active in the wrong organization, because my native friend even know better about 'Chinese indonesian' culture than you

I know cap go meh, and eat bakcang, but I forgot because my family doesn't celebrate it. Although I get bakcang every year. But I won't forget Zhong Qiu because my organization celebrate it every year, along with Chinese New year. And I always become "panitia", committee member for the celebration.

Yes, that's the Top 3 most important day in our Chinese-indonesian culture.

I just think as "Chinese-indonesian" we need to preserve more our unique Chinese-indonesian culture. If not us, who else? Soon our grandchild will see our unique culture in the museum, if we cannot preserve our culture.
