Home Theatre Upgrade Idea required

I have a pretty old (2013) home theatre system based on Yamaha AV Receiver, Canton speakers ( 5 + 1 sub), Cambridge audio DAC, Panasonic Blu ray player

I’m planning to upgrade it before a family function in Dec. If you have some experience, please do suggest…the preliminary budget in my mind is not more than 30 grands

Do you think its too much, I mean you can get a real nice home theatre for under 3 grand, like 90% cheaper. Like the Bose Lifestyle SoundTouch

unless you trying to go bigger in size of the speakers

I used Denon Receiver and Boston SoundWare XS Satellite Speaker. its a 5.1 sound system. Amazing how much power those little satellites speakers hold. Sound is amazing

When i installed sound system the first movie i watched was The hobbit and the deep voice of Smaug . oh man

Bose really bad quality...actually that will be a downgrade from my current system

I was considering Trinnov audio Altitude 32, BW or KEF reference series but then it easily move northwards of 30 grand
so now I'm looking for some middle ground.

@war&peace I used to be a DJ before, believe it or not....Mackie Speakers are the best for home or commercial use, you could go with a Denon receiver with that would be perfect if you trying to go big

On very budget side Denon AVR-X2300W will be good
But I want something with XLR inputs and 170 W / channel

I think Most denons and almost all mackies have XLR inputs... not sure about that model, did you check it out yet?

Check out the Denon AVR-5805, 170 W and XLR inputs as well along with others

It is good but very old...it is from 2005 or 2006 so only used will be available..

lol wow thats the time when I used to DJ, feels like yesterday....But I'll do a little digging and hopefully we will find you the perfect receiver..... how about the speakers n the sub, Mackie?

Great thanks in advance...I have no experience with Mackie...I have B&W in my car so I like there sound, Like KEF ref seres, Canton, Dali, Yamaha, Klipisch, Sonos etc

i want a system that I don't to change for at least next 5 yrs ...
