Hindu militants in Kashmir insurgency killed

Jammu, Jul 31 (PTI) Four ultras from Hindu community have been killed during the two-decade-long militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, a senior police official said as he asserted that their fight was not for ideology, but they were lured by "power of gun."

"So far four Hindu militant commanders of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen - Uttam Singh alias Saifullah, Kuldeep Kumar alias Kamran and Subash Chander Shaan and Bipin Kumar - were killed in 22 years long militancy in Jammu and Kashmir," IGP of Jammu Zone Dilbagh Singh told PTI.

But, he rebutted claims of Hizb-ul that a large number of Hindus picked up guns due to idealogical conviction.

"I did not see any idealogical conviction in all these cases (Hindus boys joining militancy). I have gone through cases of 3 to 4 militants (Hindus) who have been killed. It is all absurd. Most of them forcibly picked up or were fascinated by power of gun," he said.

The official argued, "If gun can fascinate Muslim boys, it can fascinate Hindu boys as well... When they lift guns, they feel empowered, and womanising, extortion and dictating people become part of their life." PTI

Kashmiris (I am one) are just the pawns of Indian and Pakistani political establishment (Military in case of Pakistan) in this game.. Like Sikhs of Punjab were in 1980s or Bengalis of East Pakistan in 1971.

For heaven's sake, learn some English. An alias is a fake identity. Not a real one. The Hindu terrorists had fake identities, using Muslim names, in the HuM. There was no conversion, & no change of their names.

How can you be so sure about this ? Why would a Hindu fight for a Muslim Cause ? Would a Muslim fight for a Hindu cause ? No. Since they have Muslim aliases we assume they were converted. There was similar case in Gujarat; where a apparently Hindu terrorist named Dhiren Bhanot was convicted. It turned out Dhiren Bhanot was his name before he converted to Islam and took up terrorism as a profession !!

How can you be so sure about this ? Why would a Hindu fight for a Muslim Cause ? Would a Muslim fight for a Hindu cause ? No. Since they have Muslim aliases we assume they were converted. Again, you have a problem comprehending basic English. The article mentions 'alias', meaning a fake identity, not a real one. They used their 'aliases' (Muslim names) inside the HuM. They were Hindu fighters, & there was no conversion. Read the article carefully.
