All the above are the pictures I took personally. Feel free to add more pictures of Mandirs in Pakistan.

The correct word and spelling is Mandir.

Yes, I thought it was probably 'Mandir'. But I used to think Mandir was just how it was pronounced in Punjabi, just like "baahar" is "baahir" in Punjabi, & "waapas" is "waapis" in Punjabi. No offense to anyone out there. Thanks for the correction though.

Nice pics hindu sites need to be protected in pakistan at all costs there is so many discriminatory laws and government policies towards minorities the least we could do is atleast maintain and protect their special places.

From what I have seen, Hindu sites are in very good condition for the most part all over Sindh. So a little bit of credit to the authorities where it is due. I personally know some Hindus from Karachi, Sukkur & Tharparker, & they are very proud, patriotic Pakistanis. Hindus have actually started doing very well, & I posted some photos of my Hindu friends in the Pakistan police, banks, NGOs & other places here, but then I took them off, due to some privacy issues. Anyways, there is still a long way to go, but certain improvements have been made, but a lot more is desired. We need to keep increasing the awareness in the people of Pakistan. All Pakistanis, from all ethnicities, religions are in a spot of bother right now with this WOT, & I think these difficult times can teach us to be united together. :pakistan:

Katas Raj Temple is situated in Chakwal district of Punjab in Pakistan. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple has existed before the days of Mahabharata and the Pandava brothers spent a substantial part of their exile here.

It is said that the five Pandava brothers, heroes of the Historical epic Mahabharata, stayed here four out of the 14 years that they spent in exile.

Its origin involves the death of Shiva's wife Satti. When she died, Shiva cried so much and for so long, that his tears created two holy ponds - one at Pushkar in Ajmer, India and the other at the Katas Raj Temple.

I'm glad to know hindus are doing ok i think next step is to reverse some of these stupid laws against them it's pathetic that someone like zardari a thief, murderer and former mental patient can become president of pakistan but an honest hindu can't.I hope it will change in the future as pakistanis start to look at things from an objective perspective supporting people on their merit rather than what religion they are.

You know what the funny thing is: a lot of Hindus are very favorable of the PPP, especially BB. They call her a martyr, & their Quaid. It's funny, but somehow, the PPP have a lot of support for some reason. I think it also might have to do with the wadera system unfortunately, besides the fact that the Bhuttos were a Sindhi family. But it is heartening for me to see plenty of Hindus in government jobs, law enforcement, lawyers, opening businesses, NGOs, banks, education, medical & many other fields. As awareness is increasing, these issues are being tackled more.

Glad you explained it before the misspelling became the cause of war

are we allowed to enter these Mandirs?

Pindi was said to be the city of Mandirs, if you can get on top of a building, you can still count dozens of Mandirs...
