As far as killing a person is concerned, its is not allowed in Islam. They have burned down houses of Hindus, which is wrong because those poor families were simply not involved in disrespect, just because they were Hindus , does not give the other villagers (Muslims) to target them.

You should understand difference between opinion and facts. There were never 20% hindu population in Bangladesh to begin with. It was 13% in 1974 but due to lower birth rate compared to muslim and conversion it is now 10.7%. However number of hindus almost doubled during this period from 9 million to 17 million.

Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj in Rajya Sabha mentioned that recently:
