Hima das the upcoming new indian face of indian athletics track events has faced a worthy opponent so far salwa naser of bahrain in her debut in asian games 2018 . The promising youngstar finished runner up on her first match of 400 m women to salwa naser. In her 200 m track she was disqualified along with the bahrain athlete. Again in 400 relay she was runner up against salwa naser of bahrain. Although she could not clinch a gold and had tp satisfy with silver but all her matches were very exciting in whole asian games. Well at the end India has a hope in track events at any international events for sure from now on

It's pressure and frustration. It was a do or die situation. Everyone had a high hope from her. Everyone and even she went for a gold not a silver. And salwa naser is her arch opponent losing to her second time made her lose control. She didn't cared for anything but to defeat salwa only.

Wrong. She was junior champion. There are atleast 20 better women than her in the world at the moment.

Hima was facing her arch opponent and when she saw salwa crossing the finish line,she got upset and sat on track but later got up and the finished the race and bagged 2nd position and silver

partially if you see all time but currently hima is among the top with her 50.79 score in the present era. And in all time records she is among the top 100 with 56th place in 400m. Where salwa naser is 2nd 49.7 . Well this is the first senior match and good to see an assamese as well as an indian in top 100 in all time champion list of world athletes

Well in current situation and as for now hima's only hurdle will be salwa naser in upcoming olympics and salwa naser has already defeated shaunea ( the world champion) in iaaf world championship. So good for hima she has faced salwa and can gain vital information which will further improve her and help in her future preparations

i saw her stumbling on track after delivering the baton this created some obstruction , commentators immediately pointed that she may be punished for this act. good if she gets away without punishment . she is our best bet in 400mtrs womens race .
