And she said in statements during her hosting of the program "Face the Press" on the American channel NBC, that she was disappointed with Saudi Arabia's decision not to raise oil production and that the US should use the carrot and stick policy with Saudi Arabia because the United States is experiencing an existential crisis..

US President Joe Biden has ordered the release of one million barrels of oil per day for the next six months, from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve.. In an attempt to bring down gasoline prices after they rose in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war..

Saudi Arabia depends on the strength of its relations with the United States in addition to its international influence, and this is what makes Saudi Arabia deal with the US in this way..

If another country, even if it was an oil producer, did a quarter of what Saudi Arabia did, the US would have abused it..

American now producing 10 million barrels and import only 500k from KSA so Saudis don't enjoy previous support anymore as the USA is less depended on them energywise but still needed it to keep petrodollar system and control prices ... Saudis still are cautions with petrodollar system as their agreement with China to trade with Yuan have yet to be implemented after several years despite 1.7 million barrels trade but as Biden refrained to sell them weapons (promised protection in exchange of petrodollar) they consider this right for themselves to show some disagreements , the USA is headed towards east to deal with China and that has made this region less interesting that makes Saudi unhappy with it ... they love the owners of the biggest hands that provides them with beautiful weapons, stands against Iran and cares less about human right ... that's why are cozying up with isreal .. idk if they could do it as their political and military are heavily connected to the USA ...
