if your weather isn't too hot like in isd, then yes your bill can be managed under 5-6. but in hot humid areas your AC will consume way more electricity. if you are family of 4-5 then you can never manage under 5-6 with even 1 AC.

Multiple lines. A house on my street has 3 lines. When load shedding happens on one line, he switches to other line. This is very common on corner houses.

Joint family have many adults. And every adult can apply for a meter. Why is it such a big deal? And how does it impact bill kf others?

2. If a family have 2 meters vs a family having 1. How is that me having 2 meters effect your bill? At the end its all about how much you use and what is the tax rate applied. How number of meters in my house effect your (1 meter in house) bill??

Plus, i said multiple earners can afford multiple (2) meters.

By applying for second meter. You should keep in mind the family also paying double meter fees and double taxes/ surcharges. The benefit is just that you keep your reading below 300. And save there.

I don't know why you unable to understand this yes there can be multiple earners but it doesn't make them rich. By having 2 meters you are saving many thousands a month easily.

For your info your tax is not fix that having 2 meters you will pay more tax. Na
Your tax is proportional to your units consumption.
Your meter rent is 7.5 rupees and tv fee 35. Which you get in every bill. Otherwise with 2 meters you are getting per unit 10 rupees till 600 in total. Against 17.6 pkr per unit above 300. Its saving of more than 3-4000 easily.
