Sir ,both F16 and JF 17 are equiped with short range infrared missiles but they are equiped with BVR rarely .why so ?

Pakistan has got loads of WVR missiles,flying a live missile onboard an aircraft shortens life span aka shelf life of missile,it's never wise to fly live rounds so,also the blue colored rounds on JFT are dummies.

good point. By the way , PAF is reluctant to showcase its BVR on media. On the other hand , IAF is showcasing its BVR openly . just my observation.
