HERALD SURVEY: Majority to vote for PTI if elections were held tomorrow

.
so many jalsas and jaloos

only 33%?
I'm starting to like my new example for this tabdeeli.. perhaps you are familiar with the story

.
1- I'm sure many would vote PTI, but how many would vote *at all*?

In 2013, there was MASSIVE fervour, people actually took out tickets and flew from abroad, entire families came out to vote, esp women, who usually ignore "mens games".

If vote was held tomorrow, the total vote count would be much lower.

Voter fatigue is setting in, people aren't going to redo the same old routine. Expect numbers to be at the "by-election" levels.

----

2- This is of course, if said revolution actually results in elections. TuQ isn't interested in becoming MNA/MPA, otherwise he would have ran in the previous elections.

----

3- How diverse was this survey? Did they go to villages? Rural vote counts for a massive %age of our elections, and they are unlikely to be PTI supported, they vote on tribal/sectarian/racial/personal grounds.

Which is the sad reality. How do you think PPP is afloat? ;p

This again is the same thing prior to 2013 polls that predicted 100% (just saying) win for IK.

When the reality was totally opposite.

IK has jazbati appeal, but when it comes to elections, it really depends on MPA, and MNA candidates' hold on his/her constituency.

And that stuff has not been updated to facebook and twitter based impression.

It still exists in the dusty village roads and crowded city slums.

Well emotional Pakistani awam is very fond of two things, giving away sweets and calling names. First they select a GOVT and give away sweets for change :dance3:. Then after some time they call names to same GOVT they selected and finally after throwing them away they again give away sweets :dance3: And this cycle continues... IK should learn from last election that first time in history of Pakistan people rejected a party on the basis of their performance. Instead of pulling legs of democracy he should wait for the next term and let people decide.

.
Sindh has the most corruption but still sindhis want corrupt politicians to rule! pathetic!

.
So how was this survey conducted? methods? sample size and diversity? etc?

How were these people chosen? (to represent all of Pakistan)

And 33% is a sizeable fraction, but NOT the majority.

it does appear to be randomly chosen except for the education representation. I dont think that 52% of our population holds bechelors or above.

.
@Jazzbot I still don't believe PPP would be voted for in Sindh for all these agonizing 6 Years in Rule by zardar dracula.
they will be .. there is alot of sharif and bhuuto family slaves .. proformance doesnt really matter .. may be in few urban cities but inot in rural area..

But for PTI it really does because KPK has a history of not repeating its mandate :P

. . .
any intelligent party wishes to rule pakistan for a long time should stand the very last in line, because pakistan throw one party and never look back and the party becomes totally irrelevant, for example PMLQ which became irrelevant, and then PPP after securing 120 plus seats reduced to 30 plus and then PMLN, next i guess will be PTI and then maybe qadri

and next will be, you all know that :woot: the very last

.
Well PTI already turned out to be a clown party so no one will vote for them anymore I don't think
