Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that Iran "is a bigger problem than ISIS."

In an interview with NPR that was released on Saturday, Kissinger explained that because Iran has a stronger footing in the Middle East, it has a greater opportunity to create an empire.

"The borders of the settlement of 1919-'20 are essentially collapsing," he said. "That gives Iran a very powerful level from a strategic point of view. I consider Iran a bigger problem than ISIS. ISIS is a group of adventurers with a very aggressive ideology. But they have to conquer more and more territory before they can became a strategic, permanent reality. I think a conflict with ISIS — important as it is — is more manageable than a confrontation with Iran.

The Kissinger interview comes just a day after the BBC reported that Iran's Supreme Leader had ordered his military to cooperate with the U.S. in the fight against ISIS forces. CNN had a similar report.

Kissinger's warning about Iran is unsurprising given his past skepticism about its nuclear program. On Friday, nuclear talks went south after Iran failed to provide key information on its past nuclear work by an agreed-upon deadline.

Earlier this week, ISIS drew international fury when it released a video allegedly showing the beheading of an American journalist. Kissinger told NPR that he would "strongly favor a strong attack on ISIS" in response

I'm very fanatically pro-truth, pro-peace and pro-justice. I don't believe in states, ethnicities, sectarianism, boundaries.. I only believe in God, and in truth and justice. Given that very few people believe in truth and justice, people like me are considered insane (thank God, it's a great honour to be considered as such by immoral beings).

Ask yourself; who hates countries such as Iran (and Russia or China)? All Western states and their puppet states and client regimes. So naturally you will see Arabs and Turks (for example)united against Iran just like their Zionist/Western masters. True, without Iran being silenced we will never know peace in the middle-east. Some Arab people like @Hazzy997 hate Israel, but is Iran really better than Israel? Who facilitated the US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan? Who is responsible for 1 million death Iraqi's? Who threatens Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi's,etc? Iran is not better than Israel. Probably I would say worse with their sectarian foreign policy and exporting of terrorism. Most of the scorch if you track it leads to only one place.

Then why is the world is willing to cooperate with Iran against Turkey and it's military front Isis. Even the US is considering limited cooperation with Iran to counter Turkic supported terrorists. That really says something about the level of confidence the rest of the world has on turkey. The Us and Europe are even arming and training the Kurds which will eventually turn on you. And no, getting mad on the internet does not change the facts
