Help needed urgently!!

Guyz,
I need help regarding Iphone 3gs 3.3 i repeat 3.3 unlock.
This is the latest of all the versions of iphone.

One of my friends in UK has bought the iphone 3gs 3.3 and now he wants to send it to India. But apple has not yet given the unlock for iphone 3gs 3.3.

Also in Delhi i have been to gaffar market(the famous unlock iphone market, in hindi what we say choro ke market) lol.
They also dont know how to do it.

Can anyone please help me, i want to know if it can be downgraded to 3.2 as its unlock is available in the market. If anyone know how to unlock it please help.

Iphone does not give unlock codes - and it is one of the worst phone when it comes to unlocking. Even if somebody suceeds unlocking this phone - there is a high possibility it will be locked once again after a certain amount of time.

Because its the latest edition in the iphone series - it will require some time for the engineers to find their way of unlocking this mobile.

Apple said they would give unlock to him after 3 months of usage!
Cant wait that long! Thats why i want to know if it can be downgraded to 3.2 and then unlocked.

Realist, Not much information about unlocking 3.3. It mainly talks about 3.2. But thanks for your pains.

MKI there is no where possible according to my knowledge - yes downgrading to 3.2 is possible but i would advise you to sell that phone instead and buy 3.2 if you are downgrade it

Downgrading means (if its possible) you will be reducing your overall price of the mobile phone also

New phones always give such problems - so you should better decide before you purchase- you can ask your friend/relative to sell that phone for you and buy that 3.3 version phone from India instead - otherwise the only option you got is go for 3.2

The best thing to do, open you window, throw it away, problem solved.

On a funnier note, iPhone is best with an actual contract, if it is unlocked, its a real hassle, especially the latest version.

Hmm.. that could be one of the options. See if it is downgraded to 3.2 and works fine and if i update it to 3.3 in India, will it still work??
I think that could be one of the options.
