Electronics and mechatronics have much similarities, but Chemical is totally different field, Mecha is still a new one, and Chemical has its specific demand, If you wan'na settled in Pakistan then electrionics and chemical are better.. Cuz many peoples don't know much about mechatronics..

Mechatronics is currently going very strong in Pakistan.

Chemical engineering is not a big market in Pakistan IMO< although abroad it is a good shout.

NUST students of Mechatronics got basic salaries of 100k about two/three years, my cousin got into BP, although he was stationed in Badin!!!

The oil companies come for you in Mechatronics, although you have to be in Badin/interior sindh for 2 weeks at a stretch at minimum.

chemical has the least math. mechatronics and EE both have some classes that are pure math like controls theory.

its true. college is designed not to produce creative people, but to produce drones for the government and corporations.

now if you're fine with being a corporate drone, then there's nothing to worry about.

however, they can't have people be too much of drones. they need just enough creativity to beat the guys in other countries and no more. that is why colleges have "creative" and "liberal" classes like sociology where they "expose" some of their own shortcomings. That's just a horrendous lie designed to brainwash people into thinking they're free, but it is useful in getting people to think, and maybe produce a new idea. Even if 0.01% of the people can produce new ideas, they're going to be useful.
