i have stumbled upon this fine beret and i wanted to know if you could help me identify it better .
i know its RJAF , is it an officer beret ?
what does the signs say ?
what aprox year is it ?
i have bumped into a similar insignia on Ebay saying its a special forces sign but is is true ?

it apears i cant post links yet ,
its a dark blue beret/hat with the royal crown in the front with wing below and a sword between the wings .
inside there is marking of a square , a large X , and the number 55 embroided .
