Helicopter Fleet for the IAF

Hmm but when we can track missiles and ground-based threats why can't we envelop ATGMs A2G missiles and A2A short range?
These SDS measures (MAWS/RWR) are continuously monitoring the environment to detect specific frequencies and electronic signatures associated with being "painted" by a missile seeker or radar system (ground or air based) and are now capable of giving a rough idea where the threat is coming from but they are NOT meant to provide an exact vector of the incoming threat conducive with targeting said threat with an accurate fire solution. Additionally these SDS often only work at a limited range and would be next to useless at actually targeting an aerial target (you would want to do so at a distance of tens of KMs).

Good find mass. Have to look at the particulars of the deal.

Thanks man!! Well as far as I remember massive attack was a name of a song back when I was in college by madonna. So I took for my user name. I m Hassan BTW and im an architect

Ahh ok
.. I thought you were a fan of Massive Attack. They're pretty good. Teardrop and Paradise Circus are pretty trippy. Manu here. Researcher in Nanoelectronics.

nice talking to you manu... now i remember it was the name of the band as "i want you" was the name of the song. they did a duet with madonna in 1995

LCH will have a higher payload capacity than the Rudra not to mention it will be significantly more manoeuvrable and present a smaller (especially frontal) RCS signature than the Rudra.

you mean LCH have similar load of weapons of Apache??
Come on, what we have seen of the LCH is exactly what HAL/Indian Mil want us to see. The only occasions we have seen the LCH is at official events (Aero India and Iron Fist) and from official PR photos (released by the MoD) so we cannot rule anything out just because we (observers) haven't seen it.
and events like aero india is for showing the military hardware.. HAL show the lch in aero india to boost its export potential also. so you think that HAL would try to downgrade the platform which they intended to export?? LCH is shown will very little payload. just like early models of cobra AH.
