No, mp5 is a smg used throughout the army, no just he spec ops, and its likely successor is unknown as it is still a subject of much debate, some argue that the type 56s are meant to replace the mp5 in an smg role but nothing solid has come up....

i hope they consider this as a uniform vun.smg lmg and general purpose assault rifle roles.they should have tot for that as we have for g3
