Exactly. you can catch the whole "story" even after watching an episode after 6 months. because their is "no story". Bas simple se plot ki kencha thaani lagai hoti hay. Though i liked the initial episodes of "Saas Bina sasural", loved the "karishma ka karishma" in my childhood. Haathim. But these Saas bahu show's are something out of my league.

And as you mentioned Indian web channels, i do follow some of Indian Youtube channels. One for example Son of Abhish, Movie review by Kannan Gill, Zakir Khan (the stand-up comedian), and Rahul Subramanium .
