"gul" of course is common to urdu and farsi too, and isn't "panra" (at least in her name ) supposed to be pronounced "paraan"?? at least that is what i read in a dawn article posted recently on pdf and in a urdu interview of her with farah khan whose first four minutes i have seen.

very true.

he's lying, gul panra, i am clean.

see, @WAJsal... farhan supports me on this.

good idea... let other pekhawaris burn with jealousy... also a certain gilgiti. :D

and "meenay" means "muhabbat"... thank you.

Meena or Meenay.it depend on the sentence you use this in.

Very smart!!!
You saw my vote. Didn't you??? :rolleyes:
The fight that I had in mind happened when I was in Nagaland.
Being a Tom boy I ended picking up a fight with few Naga boys(who are supposed to be short tempered).
My principal called me in his office and drilled some sense into me that day (the typical "you're a girl" and "you should avoid such fights" blah blah). He did not stop at it, he also rang up my father and informed him about the fight. :confused:
Needless to say that at home I did get to hear sermons for next few days and faced emotional blackmailing too. :(

Emotional blackmailing is the worse thing which u face at home all time after fight, the mom is like, look at your cousins, colleagues and suddenly she will start comparing u will all known boys of same age.. aaaaaah and then dad, just gives you that weired look, damm it scary... haha

i just finished watching this urdu interview of her ( Gul Panra Interview in Morning Show with Farah Khan - Video Dailymotion )... so "panra" is pronounced "paana" with a thick n, yes??

@WAJsal, watch it.

she faced lot of struggle as the interview points out... she seems so sweet, coy, shy, prideful, brave.

such a wife material, and a fairy stuck in a unpleasant environment.

even the female interviewer seems so taken by her. :lol:
