What's new

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? What happened?

Hell yeah, loved her the moment I saw her. She was 23, I was 19. She used to teach us accounting and I, who would rather go hug a suicide bomber than sit through an accounting lecture, never missed a single class in almost a year. Then she got married and my heart f**ked me with excruciating pain and depression. 2 years later, I still think about her quite affectionately. Now, I think I've bounced back with a new love...but shes 24 and may soon be married. Life - ain't it a blast.

Have any of you ever fallen in love in first sight?
If yes what happened after that?
Did the girl/boy also fell in love with you?
or
He/She didn't share the same feelings for you and it stopped there?
or
You soon lost interest in her/him.

I went to her and started conversation. We talked... a lot. I thought she liked me. She talked about her family, her work and even offered to share her lunch. Then we went on a walk(I know, it was damn exciting for me too. But no touching except for the initial handshake). For the first time, I was looking into a girl's eyes while talking, in fact I was staring... lost somewhere in those big round blacks.

Then something happened, which I could not figure out quite yet(will I ever?). She would not even talk to me from the next time. I guess somewhere in the conversation during the end of our walk, I realized I was not saying much about myself and blabbered about my future plans, which were weird and confusing even for me.

Or may be it is because at some point I openly flirted with her, with something like 'Your dress doesn't look too bad' and she said(literally) 'Tell me something I don't know'. I stopped right there(Not sure why. damn it I should have written a poem then and there). Till now I could not figure out what went wrong. I guess I was not focussing on what could go wrong and was instead staring at her eyes. It was too beautiful to end.

I went mad for a week after that day, haven't had a proper meal for the entire week, my temperature was like at least 102 throughout. She wouldn't even talk. She could have at least cut me loose saying its over. And I didn't want to think its over. But in the end, I decided to take my weird career plans as the reason for the fall out. So now I am thankful that it brought a whole new sense of seriousness in what I do. Either that or she meant it as friendship from moment number 1(I just block out this possibility from my mind). If you ask me if I will give up all this now for her, I would say no. But if she stands before me with those goddamn eyes, I will loose myself all over again.

So... any questions?

I can understand what you went through. Girls are really hard to understand. If they like you they wont come approach you, they play hard to get even though its obvious they want you. They are never straight forward, idk why they like playing mind games. Anyways don't worry about it. There are so many more girls out there that are worth your time. You should be happy that you don't have to waste your time on her.

I understand your upset. Next time, please don't discuss about dress or something future plans or baby which will make her UNCOMFORTABLE and will disappear. Just talk in general anything related to school or anything. That's enough of flirt conversation, not dress.

PDF has reached all time low on thread creation. First 'Porno yes, no' and now this crap. Seriously, might consider ditching PDF because of all these nonsensical lavatory level threads created by mentally incapacitated....

With your avatar, I don't see how you have any right to complain.

Personally I think anyone who pretends to not like me can go to hell. If she likes me then she better be honest about it instead of trying to play games.

I love it when i see we indians and pakistanis become so brotherly in these kind of threads.... I think we to keep these kind of threads going just to keep the temperatures down..... Enjoyed reading all the posts,,, Our thoughts are so similar when we talk about girls :azn:...

well... this happens daily with me...:cheesy::smitten:

& the results???? wo apne ghar chali jaati hain aur hum apne..
na fir woh dikhayi deti hain.. aur hum aur dhoond lete hain...
i always used to fall with certain kind of look..little bit fashionable , little bit trendy , little bit traditional and cute.. remaining things are described by Jatt pajji..which is also applicable in my case...problem is that girls have weak eyesight in my case..or they are too strong to fall
