Hatf 5 missile test fired successfully

Ghauri ballistic missile can carry conventional and nuclear warheads over a distance of 1300 kms.


Pakistan on Wednesday successfully conducted the training launch of Medium Range Ballistic Missile Hatf V (Ghauri), Inter Services Pubilc Relations (ISPR) reported.

According to ISPR s press release, the launch was conducted by a Strategic Missile Group of the Army Strategic Force Command on the culmination of a field training exercise that was aimed at testing the operational readiness of the Army Strategic Force Command.

Ghauri ballistic missile is a liquid fuel missile which can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads over a distance of 1300 kms.

The test monitoring of the launch was conducted at the National Command Centre through the medium of National Command Authority’s fully automated Strategic Command and Control Support System (SCCSS).

The test consolidates and strengthens Pakistan’s deterrence capability, and national security, ISPR stated.

The President and Prime Minister congratulated all ranks of the Army Strategic Force Command on the excellent standard achieved during training which was reflected in the proficient handling of the weapon system in the field and the accuracy of the training launch.

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army said on Wednesday it had successfully conducted a test fire of a medium-range Hatf-5 (Ghauri) ballistic missile having a capability of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads.

The launch was conducted by a Strategic Missile Group of the Army Strategic Force Command on the culmination of a field training exercise at , said Inter Services Public Relations on Wednesday.

The missile launch aimed at testing the operational readiness of the Army Strategic Force Command, it added.

Pakistan ke kisi bhi ballistic missile ki speed ka pata ho tu bata do bhai.

Mujhe kisi ki speed ka nahi pata.

Shaheen-1 is reportedly a Mach-5 missile and covers it's distance of 750 Kms in about seven minutes

i don't think they should fire the same missile again n again! now they should move forward n should test Ghuari/shaheen 3 etc :( not much interesting.....Hope for better n gud luck...

This missile is liquid fueled. Does Pakistan have a solid fueled missile in 1500 km range?

Yes. They have. Alot of them. Deployed against your sea ports , cities , military bases , urban centers , capital , industrial complexes , and other important infrastructure etc.

As an Indian citizen , you should know this.
