The Christians in India take Matthew 5:5 by heart: "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth."
I have been to many churches in India, it's all "turn the other cheek" stuff. The pastors and Fathers be like: "Son, violence begets violence. Seek peace etc." They are all peaceniks, the pastors and Fathers alike.
Why don't they take something from Ecclesiastes 3:8: "a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."
or.. Micah 7:8: "Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." Now that's called inspiration!
Churches in India never preach anything from the Old Testament: the ancient Hebrews were certainly no pushovers in battle. The Hindutvadi goons have probably censored the Old Testament in India. While they're allowed to take inspiration from Bhagwad Gita's battle phrases.
God never helps the cowardly...that's just my theory and I may be entirely incorrect since I am no expert in any religion.
