John Kerry the new American Secretary of State, has moved sharp towards kissing the hands of the new Chinese leadership with speed, to help neuter Kim Jong-un, the boy-wonder of North Korea.

Parallel to that, Kerry has also made positive remarks towards Sri Lanka, a good friend of China.

Russia, in a surprising move has publicly endorsed the American stand-point against North Korea, and confirmed its in closeness socio-political-economical with China.

Its no secret that, China, by default, almost owns USA economically, and USA needs to play its cards with respect with the Chinese Banker.

This brings to the question of the global positioning of India as a leader of significance.

Although India has turned itself from a Colonial slave into a economical power-house, the old British bureaucratic septic mess in India has got only worse.

I fail to understand that, Indians with all the finesse in IT, still fail to read & write emails or answer their telephones. When it comes to communications, India is still in the stone-age, perhaps using carrier-pigeons or crows.

The rampant bribery & corruption:India’s image on tackling corruption has not improved with Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index (CPI) placing it at 94th rank out of 176 nations this year.

India ranked 94th in Corruption Perception Index ratings says Transparency International - Indian Express

Where as Sri Lanka Placed 79th in Global Corruption Perception Index. (Is not much better either)

Press releases - Sri Lanka Placed 79th in Global Corruption Perception Index

Which brings to the main point, with USA holding hands with China, and Russia getting in-between-the-sheets with both USA & China, and Sri Lanka receiving compliments from Kerry, “Is India getting the Winds of Change?”.

GOSL under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa has made no secret that India cannot be trusted.
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has made his opinions publicly, against Tamil Nadu trying to play “King Kong” in India, over-riding the Congress decisions.

The current leadership under Manmohan Singh with Sonia Gandhi playing the “back-seat” driver, keeping the columns warm till the young Rahul Gandhi, a Member of Parliament and the Vice President of the Indian National Congress until he has the safety & security to lead the Party.

Also Sonia tried her best to win the favours of the Tamil Nadu LTTE by offering a “pardon” to the killer of her husband Rajiv. Time will tell how the Tamil Nadu reacts to such generosity.

USA, has made many miscalculations and mis-judgments in their time, by screaming “Mission Accomplished”, but John Kerry the current Secretary of State is a war-veteran, a soldier, who might be a better judge than Mrs Hilly-Billy Clinton.

Lets hope that Kerry keeps Indian ambitions in check!

Only because they want our help.

Luckily for them, North Korea is causing a headache for us as well.
