Haryana BJP leader stops ambulance after it hits his car, delay leads to death of patient
A BJP leader in Haryana has been accused of causing the death of a man who was being taken to hospital in an ambulance, according to media reports.
The leader reportedly gave chase to the ambulance that hit his car and intercepted it, causing a delay in the patient's treatment.

CNN-News18 identified the BJP leader as Darshan Nagpal.
The ambulance reportedly clipped Nagpal's car following which he chased down the ambulance and snatched away the keys from the driver. He then allegedly argued with the driver and the patient's family. The delay reportedly caused the death of the patient.
Nagpal spoke to Times Now and denied stopping the ambulance.
ANI has reported that a case has been registered in the matter and the police are investigating.

This is not the first time an ambulance has been stopped on account of a politician.
In May, an ambulance was stuck in traffic as police made way for Karnataka home minister G Parameshwara in central Bengaluru.
In April, an ambulance carrying a bleeding child was allegedly stopped for a few minutes near Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in central Delhi since the road was barricaded for VIP movement.
