the situation was brought under control by 1,500 armed police officials, nearly four hours after it had started. Muslim villagers were escorted out of the area in police vehicles and taken to a police station 15km away.

It's good to see the situation was bought under control, which prevented further damage. I'm glad no lives were lost. Hopefully mediation can sort this dispute out and maybe some state help to aid rebuilding.
