No we dropped it in favour of Bangali.

We had a common language, but after half a century the Bangali spoken in Bangladesh is very different from that spoken in WB....while a lot of people in Kolkata actually speak Hindi. This difference is naturally going to grow further as time go's by just as English spoken in the UK Is different to English spoken in the U.S. Or Australia or New Zealand etc. Apart from skin colour we are different people, with very little in common with India and Indians.

প্রথমে সামি, যাদব আর রোহিত শর্মার সাথে হালকা তামিম ইকবাল মিশিয়ে নিন । তার উপর খানিকটা সৌম্য সরকার ছিটিয়ে দিয়ে মাহমুদুল্লাহ রিয়াদ মেখে নিন । এরপর জাদেজা ও অশ্বিনের সাথে একটি মুশফিকুর রহিম ভেঙে দিন । খেয়াল রাখবেন মুশফিকের পরিমান যেন বেশি না হয় । তাহলে ঝালের মাত্রা অতিরিক্ত হয়ে যাবে । এবার একটু মাখা মাখা করে ভালো ভাবে সাকিব আল হাসান মিশিয়ে নিন । এভাবে মাখতে থাকুন । আঙ্গুলের ডগায় নিয়ে জিহ্বায় লাগিয়ে দেখুন সবকিছু ঠিক আছে কিনা । যদি ঠিক না থাকে, তাহলে সুরেশ রায়ানার সাথে এক চা চামচ সাব্বির রহমান ঢেলে দিন । এবার চাইলে একটু মাশরাফিও দিতে পারেন । না দিতে চাইলে নাই । আপনার ইচ্ছার উপর নির্ভর করবে ।

এবার পরিবেশন করুন ।

Reading these comments b/w bangladeshis and ys indians on a simple issue like cricket makes me feel how much better countries we could have been if we were all seperate islands like australia or malaysia.

Damn everybody hates everybody and will continue to do so for the next 1000 yrs. Even england/germany and USA/Japan are friendly and they were in wars 100 times worse than us. Arrogance and total lack of communication,understanding is costing billions of $in trade while we argue ocer who f*** came first and who caused what in thier respective countries.

বলা হয় বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেটের ইতিহাসে সর্বকালের সেরা ওপেনার তিনি। তিন ফরম্যাটেই বাংলাদেশের সর্বোচ্চ রানের ইনিংসটা এসেছে সেই তামিম ইকবালেরই ব্যাট থেকে। তাই, তাকে সেরা মানতেই হচ্ছে।

তবে, আমাদের এবারের আয়োজন ক্রিকেটের বাইরের জীবন নিয়ে। চলুন জেনে নেয়া যাক তার ব্যাপারে অজানা সাত তথ্য...


১. ইংলিশ মিডিয়ামের ছাত্র তামিম ইকবাল ‘ও’ লেভেল ফাইনাল পরীক্ষায় চার বিষয়ে ফেইল করেন। ফেইল করার পেছনে একমাত্র কারণ ছিল তামিমের অতিরিক্ত ক্রিকেট প্রেম। পড়ালেখায় বারবার ব্যর্থ হতে দেখে তামিমের গৃহ শিক্ষক কামাল বুঝতে পারলেন তামিমকে দিয়ে আর পড়ালেখা হবেনা। গোপনে সে তামিমের হাত থেকে কলম কেড়ে নিয়ে তুলে দেয় ব্যাট-বল। এরপর থেকে বদলে যায় তামিমের জীবন।

২. তামিম ইকবাল চট্টগ্রামসহ দেশের প্রায় পনের থেকে বিশটা এতিমখানা দেখাশোনা করেন। এতিমখানা গুলো দেখাশোনা করতে প্রতি মাসে সে পাঁচ থেকে সাত লক্ষ টাকা ব্যায় করেন তিনি।

৩. একবার জাতীয় লিগে প্রথম ম্যান অব ম্যাচ পুরূস্কারের পুরো টাকা তামিম তার বাল্যবন্ধু ফারহানের মায়ের ক্যান্সারের চিকিত্সা বাবদ খরচ করে ফেলেন। ফারহান বন্ধুর এই অবদানের কথাটা এখনও সবাইকে বলে বেড়ায়।

৪. তামিমের স্বপ্ন ছিল তার বড় ভাই নাফিস ইকবালের সাথে একসাথে টেস্ট এবং ওয়ানডে ম্যাচে ইনিংস উদ্বোধন করার। কিন্তু ইনজুরির কারণে নাফিসের ক্যারিয়ার খুব বেশি লম্বা হতে পারেনি। সেজন্য ক্রিকেট থেকে যেদিন নাফিস দূরে সরে গিয়েছিলেন সেদিন তামিম নাফিসকে জড়িয়ে ধরে অনেক কান্নাকাটি করেছিল। এরপর নাফিস তামিমের মাথায় হাত বুলিয়ে দিয়ে বলেছিলেন, ‘এখন তুই এমন ভাবে ক্রিকেট খেলবি যাতে তোর খেলা দেখে সবাই বলে তামিম একলা একশ। দোয়া করি তুই যাতে অনেক দূরে এগিয়ে যেতে পারিস ভাই।’

৫. তামিম নিয়মিত ফরজ, সুন্নত, নফল এবং তাহাজ্জুদের নামাজ আদায় করেন। পুরোদস্তুর ধার্মিক হিসেবে একাধিকবার সে হজ্ব ও পালন করেছে। চলফেরা করার পথে যদি কোনো অসহায় চোখে পরে তামিম তাকে তত্ক্ষণাত আর্থিক সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দেয়।

৬. তামিম তার ভাল পারফরম্যান্সের জন্য মা, ভাই, স্ত্রী এবং চাচা আকরাম খানের দ্বিধাহীন সমর্থনকে মূল কারণ হিসেবে দেখান। ফর্ম না থাকা অবস্থায় তামিমকে নিয়ে যারা সমালোচনা করেন তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে তামিম বলেন, ‘আসলে ওরা সবাই আমাকে এবং ক্রিকেটকে অনেক ভালবাসে। আর ভালবাসে বলেই ক্রিকেট নিয়ে সমালোচনা করে। আর তাঁদের সমালোচনা থেকে আমরা ভাল খেলার প্রেরণা পাই।’

৭. পাকিস্তান-বাংলাদেশ সর্বশেষ সিরিজ শুরু হওয়ার ক’দিন আগে তামিম তার মাকে ফোন করে বললেন, ‘আম্মু তুমি দেখো আমি সিরিজের প্রায় সবকটি খেলায় হয় হাফ সেঞ্চুরি করব না হয় ফুল সেঞ্চুরি করব। একটা খেলায়ও শুন্য রানে আউট হবো না। তুমি আমার জন্য দোয়া করো।’ .priyo
