I can just feel how cold the water is!!!:woot:

Does your region celebrate Sizdah Bedar or any fire ceremonies (char Shanbeh Souri)?

I think Iranian Kurds do both. But from what I khow, those living in Iraq don't jump over fire the Tuesday night before the new year. And I don't know if they hold Sizdah Bedar or not...

Thanks

All Kurds jump over the fire. Should be noted that Kurds are originally Mithra followers(sun and fire) which Zartusth later took and adopted in Zoroastrianism. So the fire parts have always been there.
Ezidi Kurds do hold Sizdah Bedar however. Most Kurds just go out and celebrate the entry of spring which is the real purpose.
