Forgotten creatures of planet

What is desert once had sea creatures swimming thru it

Creatures who are gone left behind their teeth as proof they once existed

There are creatures which resemble our present age definition but they are not of same kind
Just like a math equation you can solve the puzzle to come up with same answer with different approaches
