First of all what is feminism? If feminism means fair rights for women then we should support it.

If feminism means woman superiority over men, then its bullshit!

Feminism started as women rights movement but like every movement it has become more aggressive and its at a point where feminists have become vigilantes. Now its not rights anymore, its proving and establishing superiority.

In a western society devoid of any moral compass provided by religion, this is possible. But the toadies of western culture in Pakistan and those sections of society for whom even mention of religion is anathema, feminism is a new religion.

Hahaha true very true but there are both types of guys who are into this stuff. One is as u pointed out ,but honestly these extremely feminine, i mean sort of fragile type of guys weird me out, seriously what has become of pakistans new generation?

But here besides these kinds of guys, u will also find the regular type of men acting the way imentioned in my earlier post u quoted. But these sort of guys although not feminine in tone , are more into beghairat type who will be okay if ppl will abuse pakistan or islam , they will say all of this is fine as it falls in category of freedom of speech or just to favour some female poster they will start speaking against their own countrys interests. Such despo types usually are so ugly in face Or have crappy personalities or financially broke that either no woman in "real world" ever wants to marry them or talk to them or if they are married then their wives just dont give them any attention for the failures they are.


Trust me , ihave seen such people and at one point i ended up realizing the reason behind their desperations.

Are u familiar with hi class pakistani lahori and karachi aunties? These women who will spend their whole days at socializing clubs and gymkhanas pretending firecely speaking on women rights will not have bestest of attitudes towrads their own bahus, their own female domestic helps.

I have seen these women. They're obnoxious as fuk. They douse themselves in perfume and caked with makeup and then pop open their laptop to talk about "women's rights" and the "evil patriarchy" in the comforts of their expensive homes with female servants ironically. South asia should be the last place on Earth to say that "we don't need feminism" . Majority of the "feminists" are genuine and only a minority of them are pseudo here . Someone said feminists here blindly copy the west but to the contrary i think the men here are copying western men and blindly bashing feminism . West doesn't need feminism , they have already gone through that phase in the past but south asia desperately needs feminism . It's funny that some of you are actually asking questions like "why we need feminism" , i mean you should already know the answer to that question if you have ever lived in this part of the world

No, on the contrary we are reacting to the imposition of a foreign and Western Ideology called "Feminism" being imposed on us normal Pakistanis.

Islam already provides us solutions, as is the Sunnah (life) of our Rasool (SAW).

Neither men nor women have it easy in our part of the world. For us Muslims Islam already gives us solutions.

Pakistani liberal/feminist women are basically hypocrites. They want the freedom, i.e. carte blanch to do anything they want, from the Western civilization...but simultaneously want the respect of women from Islam.

We need to be fair here. In many parts of rural Pakistan women is nothing more then baby making machine and cook.

We shouldn't discuss topics like feminism, liberalism, conservative etc they don't apply to Pakistan. Western conservatives get triggered by feminism but I don't see how can Pakistanis can think along similar lines.

In fact you can see such a reaction on this thread itself. A tribute to our Pakistani soldiers and working men has triggered a barrage of abuse and name calling from our "Liberals". Makes one question where their loyalty lies.

What's your point? I already stated that all Pakistanis, whether male or female, have it tough.
