I'm going to start off with why I have made a separate thread for our Christian kin in Pakistan.
Today I had the great fortune to visit friends who belong, to what is the largest Pakistani Christian community in the UK, which is based in and around Walthamstow, Ilford etc. I went along to the local church they pray at and I spoke to the white English vicar who praised them for keeping the congregation going, and for paying for the upkeep of many churches in the area. I mingled with dozens of families and the immense feeling of patriotism they still have for the fatherland was overwhelming, overwhelming to the point I was in tears. Even though they have been through so much, for example with the communal riots 21 months ago, the deaths of the couple recently and the ongoing issue with the misuse of the blasphemy law, they still loved Pakistan dearly, and indeed in the final prayer, there was a special mention for the protection of Pakistan. The rare complaint I did come across was quickly overwhelmed, by their own thoughts of the need to forgive and forget. As this is what Christ would have wanted.
Our Christian community has punched well above its weight in every sphere of the country's make up. As you all know, it was their men who took the skies time and time again to defend the fatherland. Their contributions In sports, in education and in teaching are countless.
For you brothers and sisters in Pakistan, please reach out tomorrow and tell them they are not alone, and in us they will find refuge, protection, love and brotherhood. Even the smallest of gestures make a huge difference.
I'm going to end the post with a few photos, that are a befitting tribute to our Christian kin.

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. We owe you lot, forgive our shortcomings and change will come inshallah.
