jantar mantar is a old obervatorry built by maharaja of amer/jaipur in late 18th centuarry based on ancient hindu astrology and vastu shastr but now its basically a prtest destination just 2Km from heart of delhi connought place and a stone throw distance from parliament street police staion here you can go 12X365X24X7 and find one or the other protest march going on

It is a brilliant collection of astronomical instruments, not astrological ones. Vastu does not figure.

This is a monument dedicated to science, not superstition.
