Look man i share your concerns but lets be realistic. Hamas does not have any power and Palestinians are already paying a heavy price for their ego. Might is right and Israel is the might here. So if what ever peace proposal achieves the stopping of this constant bombing in Ramazan, than all parties should accept it.

Stop lying to yourself. You have no knowledge on this conflict. It was Israel which escalated this situation and later launched an assault. It's Israel which has broken so many UN resolutions and continues it's decades long occupation.

Already Israel broke the cease fire supposed to begin at 9AM as my post #61 shows.

Hamas keeps firing rockets so far. Well they always fire rockets after the cease fire to show that they are cool (they have 5 year old kid mentality). Lets see what will happen next.

GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories (AFP) - The armed wing of Hamas on Tuesday rejected an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza, threatening to "intensify" its conflict with Israel if truce terms were unsatisfactory.

"No official or unofficial side has approached us about the ceasefire talked about in the media... (but) if the contents of this proposal are true, it is a surrender and we reject it outright," the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement.

"Our battle with the enemy will intensify."

They will never enter Gaza. It would be incredibly stupid if they did and they have no reason to do so. They can effectively destroy any target they deem a legitimate one with their air force or arty without any loss of IDF personnel. The Iron Dome system is co-funded (read subsidised) by the US and Israel has committed it self to operating the system, the expenses that come with it would have been a consideration in its procurement and found to be acceptable given what it can do. Israel can continue, its acceptance of a ceasefire indicates it has achieved what it set out to do.
